> School Aerobics State Finals (June 24, 2009)
On Saturday 20th June EMC competed at the School Aerobics State Finals. The following teams represented our school; Flirtatious, Fantasy, Astronomics, Illuminate, Elektric, Team Rokn, Louise Inger, Fusion and Boot Chix. Five of our teams qualified for Nationals in Adelaide this August. We’re very proud of our whole squad and we wish the girls all the very best at Nationals.
> Year 7 Soccer Success (June 17, 2009)
EMC swept aside opposition from Mount Erin, Frankston High and Carrum Downs at the year 7 soccer on Tuesday 16th June. Captained by Adam McLaren, they amassed 17 goals, conceding only 2. Harry van Staveran wore the golden boot with 5 goals. All members of the 13-man squad played exceptionally well, a great team effort. Well done to all of you. They can all look forward to the next round with confidence - Mr Rogers.
> The Kalahari Experience (June 1, 2009)
We aim to help educate children in the Kalahari, with an emphasis on their last three years in High School – students who have no materials and below-standard education but who still have to complete the same exams as students who are much more privileged. By educating tomorrow’s leaders, we hope that they will change the way these small communities function, so that many more people have the opportunity to become successful. > New College Website (June 1, 2009)
The new Elisabeth Murdoch College website has been launched. Alot of areas are still currently under construction and will continue to be populated over the coming weeks!
