Elisabeth Murdoch College

Uniform Policy

Purpose

To ensure students are well presented when in attendance at school and on external events.

Students who ignore this will be asked to remove their jewellery while at school and in uniform. Students who fail to comply with the facial piercing policy will be removed from formal classes until the piercing is removed. Parents will be contacted.
  • Nail polish and excessive make-up are not permitted.
  • Extremes of hair colour and/or style are not allowed. However, natural hair dye colours are acceptable.
  • Uniform should be clean, pressed and in good repair.

Implementation

Students are expected to wear the College uniform proudly and represent the College when in uniform. It is expected that students wear correct school uniform when travelling to and from school. The sports uniform is not to be worn to school but where a student has PE in session 4, they are permitted to travel home in their sports uniform.

All items should be clearly labelled with the student's full name and Home Group.
