With all the hard work over recent years by our grounds staff, VET Building & Construction, Landscaping, VCAL Block projects and Hands On Learning classes, our college is looking exceedingly brighter. Major transformation has resulted in several new facilities and now it is that time we seek community support for the annual working bee.
Working bees bring energy and expertise to our college grounds when parents, students and teachers work actively together on school related projects. The intention for 2018 Working Bee on Thursday 8th March (3 -7pm) is to provide our college with a make over (prior to Open night) in the following areas;
- Farm, playground and Tennis Centre- gardening/landscaping
- Outdoor basketball Court and new Allinga classes - gardening/landscaping
- Canteen courtyard; paving paint
People with specific skills or interests are highly sought after for the special tasks but everyone has a role to play.
A sausage sizzle and refreshments will be provided for those who assist. Please contact the school (9788 2600 or email Ciro Ferra; email@example.com) if you are able to attend and outline specifically what areas you can provide assistance in. BYO tools please. Eg hedgers, paint brushes, shovels etc
